Contemporary Print Handbook

Published with Halmos

Exhibition at Art In General

2016

Contemporary Print Handbook was an exhibition, event, conversation, and textbook. I was invited by artist, writer, and founder of Halmos, and Library Stack, Erik Wyzocan to be a contributing co-editor. Contributors included Transformazium, Maddy Varner, Suzanne Herrera, Thom Donovan, Corinn Gerber, and Erik Wyzocan.

The book renovated print terminology, both new and old methods of technique, theory, and modes of dissemination, as well as the economy of the multiple within feminist terms that engage abundance, plurality, and care. It expanded beyond its pages to bring the participants together in a variety of ways. Contributors were invited by Art In General curator Kristin Chappa to hold an exhibition and conversation at AIG, New York, NY June 1st - 3rd, 2016. I was also invited by curator Corinn Gerber to perform and read at a symposium How To Raise A Teenager hosted by Torpedo Press in Oslo, Norway.
